A Message to Insurance Agents and other Financial Professionals
While our country’s debt continues to increase a direct reflection can be found in the financial situations of many American families. Cheap money and the need for more have created stress for even the wealthiest in our communities. Tighter profit margins and business lay offs are shaking the foundations of Middle America as people sense their freedom and dreams being lost and compromised.
One of the major reasons for
the stress that accompanies financial troubles is the unwillingness of people
to discuss the problem. Pride, embarrassment and a host of other reasons add to
the stress that affects marriages, families and on-the-job performance.
As an insurance agent, you
have a unique position to offer a solution to this growing problem. Because of
the information you have gathered in covering the client’s risks you already
know more about the client than other professionals and possibly even family
members. Your profession has earned you a level of trust and confidence to
which a client can turn if they feel you might have an answer.
If you don’t discuss the
situation who will? By asking the tough questions and offering a solution you
place yourself and your agency in a new paradigm for the client. More than just
managing risks that may or may not occur, you are providing relief from a
problem that the client will be aware of and grateful for each and every day.
This is now a client that will refer others and not be shopping agencies when
insurance premiums increase.
Having worked in and around
the insurance industry for many years I feel strongly that those of us in the
business have both an opportunity and an obligation to instruct our clients
about strategies that will benefit them. Most have no idea that they have a
choice and are very open to listening and learning. Money Coach has made it
possible to be properly compensated for offering this important service.
I look forward to working
with you. Please contact me at Steve@liabilitymanagers.com to discuss how we can work together for the benefit of your clients.
Sincerely,
Steve Fine
